What's in the Cards for the NFC South in 2012?

Here the links to the previous "In the Cards" posts:

NFC West
AFC West

Now the boxes will predict the competitive NFC South:

New Orleans Saints

3 Base Cards
2 Inserts
What's in the Cards Prediction Score = 7 points

Drew Brees will be looking to put together another historic offensive season with the help of running back Pierre Thomas and wide receiver Marques Colston.

Atlanta Falcons

2 Base Cards
What's in the Cards Prediction Score = 2 points

Uh-Oh.  With only 2 base cards pulled and Tatupu being out for the season, the boxes perhaps portend an ominous season on the horizon for the Falcons.

Carolina Panthers

5 Base Cards
1 Insert
What's in the Cards Prediction Score = 7 points

The addition of the punishing Mike Tolbert to a backfield that already features Jonathan Stewart and DeAngelo Williams gives the Panthers a trio of running backs capable of putting up offensive numbers.  Meanwhile, Charles Johnson hopes to continue to terrorize quarterbacks on a regular basis.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

5 Base Cards
2 Parallels (Doug Martin, Josh Freeman glossy glossy)
What's in the Cards Prediction Score = 9 points

Newcomer tight end Dallas Clark and rookie running back Doug Martin look to help Josh Freeman lead the Buccaneers out of the cellar of the NFC west.  Also look for Lavonta David to get some playing time from the linebacker spot.

In the Cards NFC South Final Standings Prediction
1st- Tampa Bay Buccaneers
2nd (t)- Carolina Panthers
2nd (t)- New Orleans Saints
4th- Atlanta Falcons

My Personal Prediction
New Orleans Saints
Carolina Panthers
Atlanta Falcons
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
