What's in the Cards for the AFC West in 2012?

Continuing with the series that I started yesterday.

Today the blasters give their take on the AFC West:

Denver Broncos

2 Base Cards
1 Insert (Brock Osweiler Hot Rookies)
1 #ed Parallel (Brock Osweiler Artist's Proof /32)
In the Cards Prediction Score = 7 points

Tebow is out and now Manning is the man in Denver but young Brock Osweiler must develop quickly in case the elder Manning faces any health issues during the season.  Meanwhile, Elvis Dumervil looks for a repeat performance of a solid 2011 season.

San Diego Chargers

4 Base Cards
3 Inserts (Drew Brees Reprint, Dan Fouts - QB Immortals, Philip Rivers "Tall Boy")
In the Cards Prediction Score = 10 points

It's time for Philip Rivers to walk in the footsteps of the great Chargers quarterbacks that came before him and make the leap from "good QB" to "great QB".  Look for him to target his young playmakers, Malcolm Floyd and Ryan Mathews, this upcoming season.

Oakland Raiders

3 Base Cards
In the Cards Prediction Score = 3 points

The all-wise boxes see the Raiders struggling this season although Jacoby Ford can make a name for himself with his elite speed.

Kansas City Chiefs

5 Base Cards
1 Parallel (Peyton Hillis Glossy)
In the Cards Prediction Score = 7 points

The departure of Thomas Jones and the arrival of Peyton Hillis may actually improve an already talented Chiefs backfield that includes the electric Dexter McCluster.  Eric Berry returns after missing last season with injury to bolster the Chiefs secondary.

In the Cards AFC West Final Standings Prediction
1st - San Diego Chargers
2nd(t) - Denver Broncos
2nd(t) - Kansas City Chiefs
4th - Oakland Raiders

My Personal Prediction
Broncos
Chargers
Chiefs
Raiders
